Keep your TicWatch software up-to-date

Auto update:

To ensure your TicWatch successfully updates to the latest software overnight (01:00 - 06:00), please make sure it is:

• 1. Placed on its charger
• 2. Charged to the minimum required battery level
• 3. Connected to Wi-Fi

Manual update:

• 1. On TicWatch, swipe down, and then tap Settings.
• 2. Tap System > System updates. TicWatch will check for available updates.

Note:

• 1. The minimum battery level required for a system upgrade varies with the Wear OS version. If the battery is low, please charge the watch first.
• 2. Updates will typically be completed within an hour. Once the installation starts, the TicWatch screen will show that it is preparing to update, restarting, and then installing the update. TicWatch can't be used during this period.
• 3. When the installation is completed, TicWatch will reboot.
• 4. To check the current build number and the current Android security update level, go to Settings > System > AboutVersions > Build number.
